Jaka Cerar

I am a software development professional with over 15 years of experience on both Microsoft and various open source technologies spanning a range of platforms (server, desktop, mobile). In recent years my main focus has been on building web-based enterprise systems on the LAMP stack, but I’ve lately ventured into mobile (Android) development.

If asked to highlight the biggest asset I bring to the table I would have to say analytical skills. Problem solving is what I do best.

While I’m no stranger to putting in long hours and burning the midnight oil when necessary, I do believe in putting quality over quantity when it comes to work. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Skiing, trail running, mountain-biking and caving all serve to keep me energetic, motivated and efficient when it’s time to get things done.

I’m currently freelancing, primarily building mobile games with Xamarin Android in C#, but I’m always looking for interesting new projects, regardless of platform or technology.
